Information we collect
None. Anchor has no sign-up, no login, and no user accounts. Your income, bills, spending, streaks, and everything else you enter is created and kept entirely on your own device. We don't collect it, and we have no way to see it.
Where your data lives
Everything you enter is stored locally on your device using its standard on-device storage. It is never uploaded to us or anyone else. If you delete Anchor, that data is removed from your device along with it.
App updates
Anchor uses Expo's over-the-air update service to deliver improvements and fixes. When the app checks for an update, it contacts Expo's servers with basic technical details — such as your app version, your device platform (iOS or Android), and the update channel.
These requests never include your financial data or anything you enter into the app. Expo's handling of this technical information is covered by Expo's privacy policy.
No tracking, ads, or third parties
- No advertising and no ad identifiers.
- No third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
- No cookies and no cross-app tracking.
Children's privacy
Anchor does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. The app is rated 4+.
Deleting your data
You're always in control. Open Settings → Reset all data in the app to erase everything instantly, or delete the app to remove all locally stored data from your device.
Platform information
When you download Anchor through the App Store or TestFlight, Apple may collect standard information such as downloads and crash reports under its own policies. That information is controlled by Apple, not by Anchor.

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and revise the effective date above. Any meaningful change will be reflected here.
